Scholarship Prize

We’re offering $1,500 toward student loan payments, tuition, or related fees. This contest is a unique opportunity to share your insights, connect with industry professionals, and relieve some of the financial burden of grad school.

Eligibility

  • Open to Speech-Language Pathology graduate students enrolled in any year of a master’s or doctoral program.
  • Participants must be residents of the United States.
  • Applicants must submit all required information and follow contest rules.

More Information

  • Completed application form (form below)
  • Essay (max. 1,000 words) addressing the topic below.
  • Submissions must be in PDF or Word format.
  • “What are the top 3 lessons learned in graduate school that you believe will be utilized the most in practice?”

We want to hear your reflections on the most valuable lessons from your SLP education and how you plan to apply them as a professional. In addition to the prize, the winning essay will be featured on the PDS website and social media, giving your voice a platform!

All applications and essays must be submitted by Feb 28, 2025.

  1. Fill out the application form with all required information
  2. Write max. 1,000-word essay answering the contest question.
  3. Submit your application and essay via our online portal by February 28, 2025.
  • Only one entry per participant.
  • The scholarship must be applied to academic expenses, student loan payments, or related fees.
  • The winner must provide proof of enrollment in a graduate SLP program.
  • PDS reserves the right to feature submission essays on our website and social media.
  • The winner will be notified via email by March 31, 2025.
  • By entering the contest, participants agree to share their contact information with PDS for future opportunities.
